The Pure Gold Server provides a protective container ensuring data is safe. The invitation envisages a grouping around common purpose: creating a positive high vibration, independent on-line space which supports organic and natural processes of communication, relationship, inspiration and evolution.

We are inviting expressions of interest from those whose offerings contribute to a world where Nature, people and the amazing gifts of this planet are enhanced and honoured – creating wellbeing and thrival, where no harm is inflicted or sanctioned and through whom new collaborative systems are being found, offered, promoted and developed that honour our interconnectedness with all of life.

Core Package: Includes Nextcloud collaborative suite with features such as file storing and sharing, photos management, calendars, contact management, video conferences and email accounts with [email protected].

These are alternatives to Google applications, Dropbox, Zoom, iCloud and other cloud based services.

One personal email address ([email protected]) can be setup with an extra initial setup cost.

Personalised Package: Includes the Core Package plus the ability to create and host a personal website or blog (WordPress based), and three personal email addresses all with your own unique domain name.

The Pure Gold Server is founded in friendships and conversations around things that matter to our hearts, emerging from our shared integral desire to communicate in freedom and with respect for privacy. What is possible as we move to the next octave of fresh, finer inter-relationship and togetherness.

We are co-initiators, currently in the development stage and are inviting you to feel your response to this and let us know if you would like to be involved and at what level.

A little backstory…

The Pure Gold Server arose through our exploration of how to re-calibrate our IT into a healthier and decentralised model. We started with actions such as finding alternatives to Google, Word etc and then realised we wanted to be as independent and free from the mainstream existing bigTech structure as possible. And so the idea of having our own collective server was born – along with a strong impulse to invite others who might be interested.

The impulse is born from multiple streams of co-creation and exploration, that we have been engaged in, individually and together, over many years.

Practically, as Kamyar investigated the relevant tech options it became clear there are a lot of ‘moving parts’ to consider before initiating the development phase. To make this manageable, we are inviting serious expressions of interest rather than simply “that sounds great”. Finally, we are also engaged in finding new ways with money. In exploring what is required to build and maintain the server, we find there are costs that have to be covered to maintain the integrity of it over time. Therefore, we have decided that initiating this service by a minimum donation system is what we wish to do. We are also inviting seed donations for the development phase.

We envisage prototyping a server for a maximum of 100 members.

To proceed we need an idea of how many people are interested, which package and what storage size.

Depending on the number of people interested and the allocated online space per person we estimate the following costs. This includes the cost of the rented hardware, softwares, security maintenance, software updates, regular backups.
